Join us for a beach to beach adventure!  Beachcomber’s front access ladder allows pickup from the beach at Lionel Perry Park Surfers Paradise to drop off at the Wavebreak Island Beach.  Turn up the music and enjoy the cruise along the Nerang River, through to the Broadwater and north to the Wavebreak Island.

At Wavebreak, we’ll anchor so that you can float on the aqua lily mat which we tie up alongside the boat.  You can also swim or fish.  BYO food and drinks.  We provide the ice-filled eskies, champagne flukes/wine glasses for your use.

You can pre-order gourmet platters ($20 pp) of antipasto or cheese & fruit, cooked prawns served on crusty bread and our special seafood cocktail sauce ($90 per kg), etc.

This cruise starts at 12:45pm, pickup at the beach at Lionel Perry Park Surfers Paradise.  Then Beachcomber takes guests north, past the stunning houses fronting Nerang River, out onto the Broadwater, past Southport Yacht Club, Marina Mirage and SeaWorld.  We will pause to witness the pelican feeding at 1:30pm where a hundred pelicans swoop in for their lunch feast.  Then on our way again to reach Wavebreak Island at 1:45pm.  Often we spot the resident sea life of dolphins, green sea turtles and the occasional dugong.

We anchor at Wavebreak for 1.5 hours.  Guests can choose to disembark via our beach-access  front ladder, taking a picnic basket, and blanket with them or they can stay aboard to enjoy their lunch.  They will discover your private ‘pop-up’ cabanas set up awaiting your arrival.

Guests can enjoy swimming, float atop our aqua lily mat or do some casual fishing.  Some may like to do yabbie-pumping on the sandbanks if tide permits.

Then after the island escape, it is a 30-min leisurely cruise back to Surfers Paradise.

Lunch provided:

• A glass (or 2) of Prosecco (for guests 18 or older)
• Soft drinks and bottled water
• Platter of cheese and fruits
• Esky filled with ice for your own BYO storage

If further food is required, you can pre-order a seafood platter for 2.

Join us for a private brunch charter on the beautiful waterways of the Gold Coast’s Broadwater where we’ll drop anchor at an island location for a spot of swimming, snorkelling and relaxing.  While at anchor, guests can also have fun floating on an aqua lily mat which we will tie alongside the boat.  Front ladder allows access directly from boat to sand.  (Snorkelling gear available on request.  Let us know your size.  Snorkelling is only possible with high tide and low winds.). Adventurous guests can choose to explore the shore.

You are also welcome to do some fishing.  We have rods available just in case you want to wet a line.

Brunch provided is for 12 people:

• A glass of Prosecco on arrival (for guests 18 or older)
• Soft drinks and bottled water
• Antipasto platter (mix of cheese, fruits, cold cut meat) for lunch
• Dessert and another glass of Prosecco

If weather permits (ie, winds less than 1.5 knots and seas less than 1.5m), we can also take you whale-watching during the right season.

Pickup at Runaway Bay Marina.  Morning or Afternoon trip.

Let our Skipper pick you up from Runaway Bay and take you on a Fishing Charter of the Gold Coast’s Broadwater so that you have a 5-hour of fishing fun, with guidance on fishing spots, tips and tricks.  This is great for team-building, celebration parties, social club gatherings or just a fun day with friends.

Fishing on the Broadwater is a calm water adventure where we go in search of estuary fish species, targeting fish such as flathead, bream, whiting and others using a variety of proven techniques. This is your chance to try techniques such as ‘lure fishing’ if you have never done this before.  We use quality fishing gear with brands such as Sumaki, EcoGear, Z-man, Zerek & Lively Lures.  We use lures, soft plastics, vibes and baits, depending on what works best on the day.  Our crew will clean your fish at the end of the day.

If the tide allows, we can take our guests yabbie-pumping on the Broadwater sandbanks for fresh bait – the kids love this!

On perfect weather / low swell days – when guests may want to chase pelagics offshore – ‘Beachcomber’ is available to go offshore into open waters. There can be all sorts of special moments too, like in the video clip below.
