Launched 2002. Blue Moon is a Beneteau 12m sailing yacht fully imported from France. It  offers sailing experiences on the beautiful Gold Coast waters. Participants are encouraged to trim the sails, have a go at steering the helm and learning the basics of safe sailing.  Captain Joe is a qualified master, instructor and very experienced mariner.  He has cruised and raced throughout the world, including 12 of the Sydney to Hobart Races, China Sea Cup and the Swan Cup.   Maximum capacity is 11 persons.

Blue Moon has a large and modern cockpit seating area. There is a large sun awning / bimini.

Below the yacht has 3 private cabins and one bathroom. Full pressured hot and cold water is available in the galley. There is a large fridge to take all your drinks and food plus plenty of cutlery and crockery available. There is a gas oven and cooktop if you need to heat up your provisions.

Blue Moon has a rigid inflatable dinghy, lily pad swimming mat, water toys and a swimming ladder.

Food: choices (separate to the boat price)

1. BYO your own food.  Eg, pre-order platters from Woolworths, Subway or Sushi Train.
2. Organize any Caterers of your own choice

3. We can cater for you. Your choice of our fresh seafood lunch or dinner with dessert or nibbles platter. Menu includes fresh sand crab, Moreton Bay bugs, prawns, oysters, or other delicacies of your choice. A non-seafood option can also be arranged.

Drinks: BYO Drinks, eskies supplied, bring your own ice.

Boat Hire Prices:

• $500 per hour (minimum 3 hours)
• POA for overnight charters (max 6 persons)

Broadwater 2-hour Sailing Experience:

Join in the fun! Captain is aboard to make your day fun and enjoyable. Set sail at 4pm from Main Beach, return by 6pm. Have a go at crewing the yacht, setting sails and having a steer. We sail or motor past Marine Mirage, Palazzo Versace Hotel, Sea World, The Hinterland and Pacific Ocean glimpses. Complimentary drinks and fruit, cheese, and nibbles platter.

Cost $95 per person, minimum 2 adults. Children under 12 are half price.

Gold Coast Private Island Sailing Experience: $2400 (max 11 people)

6 hours starting at 9 or 10am from Main Beach and return before 8pm. Captain and crew are aboard to make your day fun and enjoyable. Have a go at crewing the yacht, setting sails, and having a steer. We sail or motor past The Spit, past Wave Break Island and all the way through to famous Tipplers Beach or Currigee Beach on South Stradbroke Island at noon where we anchor, swim, and have lunch. You can choose to go ashore and explore.  Free use of the “water lily” swimming mat.  Then we cruise back through the channels past Sovereign Island, enjoying the majestic Gold Coast skyline. Certificate of achievement will be presented to all crew! BYO food and drinks. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water.
