Paradise is a 52 feet Westcoaster – the biggest offshore fishing boat on the Gold Coast. It is big, spacious and comfortable, with a shade awning and toilet on board. Fully insured and legally surveyed to carry a maximum of 25 persons plus crew. However, we prefer max 16 people if all are fishing.
Aft Deck
(1) Shared Charter price:
1/2 day (either 6am to 11am or 11am to 4pm)
– $160 per person for 5-hour fishing charter
– $200 per person for 7-hour fishing charter
– $240 per person for 9-hour fishing charter
(2) Private charter prices (max 25 people but max 16 people if all are fishing):
5-hour charter
– $1600 for the first 10 people
– $150 per person after that
7-hour charter
– $2000 for the first 10 people
– $190 per person after that
9-hour charter
– $2400 for the first 10 people
– $230 per person after that
Deposit $500. Balance is only payable on the cruise day or the day before the cruise.
Included in price:
- All bait and fishing tackle
- Full tuition
- Legal fish to be gutted, gilled and bagged for you
Booking and refund policy
- A $50 per person deposit is required to secure all bookings. Phone bookings may pay by credit card.
- Payment must be made in full prior to departure.
- Any cancellation or “no shows” will forfeit deposit and the balance will be charged in full.
- Only the captain may cancel a charter prior to departure due to poor weather, in this case you may re-book for another day or receive a full refund.
- If you cancel giving at least 7 days notice prior to the charter then we can give you a refund. Any cancellations where we don’t receive at leat 7 days notice, no refunds will be given.
All transactions carry a 2% credit/debit card fee.

Our Fishing Trips
We offer game fishing trips for a single person to a group of max 25 people. It can be a 5-hour, 7-hour or 9-hour deep sea/reef game fishing or a specialised deep sea jigging, a soft plastic charter, a bucks party or even purely sightseeing, whale-watching or island resort visits.
The 5-hour fishing suitable for all
We travel to reefs up to 25 km from the Seaway which are 65m deep. These areas are great to catch snappers, cobia, mackeral, marlin, tuna, wahoo, mahi mahi and shark. We use a combination of bottom baits, float baits, live baits and soft plastics.
The 7-hour & 9-hour fishing suitable for experienced fishers who want big fish
We travel to distant reefs up to 50 km from the Seaway which are 100m deep. These areas are great to catch snappers, amberjack, samson fish, kingfish, pearl perch, job fish, etc. We use cut fish, squid baits, live baits and deep sea jigs here. Better eat your Weet-Bix for this one!
We have years of experience in making sure our customers have the best fishing experience possible. We go out farther and for longer than our competitors do and we’ll do whatever we can to make sure that you get a fish. Hence the vast majority of our customers all go home with a fish. We never try to rip our customers off and if we don’t feel the weather is right for fishing, we will let you know and refund your money for the day rather than you wasting your time and money. On our half days, we go to the 36 fathom mark, which is around 20 km offshore. Most other boats only go 4 – 5 kms offshore. On our full days, we go to the 50 fathom mark, which around 50kms offshore.

Go past SeaWorld Nara Resort, look for blue sign with “boat ramp/Charter boats” turn left at Muriel Henchman drive.
Plenty of free parking available.
Note that the boat does not live here permanently, it’s a public pickup jetty, please wait at top of jetty ramp. Please register with our shore manager at the pontoon before boarding any boat.
